April/May 2000 - Ray Harryhausen Tribute Exhibition

Stop-motion models and artwork inspired by the work of living legend Ray Harryhausen, plus vintage Harryhausen movie posters and memorabilia
Mr Harryhausen visited the gallery on 13th April to award prizes to winning entries in Student and Professional categories. Prizes were sponsored by Trackdown Digital, Animal Logic, Alias Wavefront and Columbia Tri-Star


June/July 2000 - Every Picture Tells A Story - Lee Whitmore and Sarah Watt

This exhibition focuses on fine art animation with narrative themes, and showcases original artworks from :
Lee Whitmore's intricate pencil drawings from her 1984 AFI winner 'Ned Wethered', pastel drawings from
'On A Full Moon', and artwork from animation sequences from feature films 'Breathing Underwater', and more recently 'Looking For Alibrandi'
Sarah Watt's spontaneous painted cels and backgrounds from her Venice International Film Festival and 1995 AFI award winner 'Small Treasures', and from her latest film 'Local Dive' made for the acclaimed AFC/SBS series "Swimming Outside The Flags"


Aug/Sept/Oct 2000 - Atomic Sushi

Exhibition of artworks from Japanese animated films and TV series, featuring original cels and backgrounds, storyboards, scripts and design drawings from 'Ghost In The Shell', 'Neon Genesis Evangelion', and latest Production IG films 'JIN-ROH' and 'Blood'
Curated by Cefn Ridout, founding editor of 'Manga Mania' magazine


Nov/Dec 2000 - What's New Pussycat? - Antionette Starkiewicz Retrospective

Featuring original cels and drawings from 'Pussy Pumps Up', 'Koko Pops', 'Pianoforte'
and more recent digital films 'Zipper' and 'Man'
